Dr. Kiannah Lagunas is a Texas Licensed Therapeutic Optometrist. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science & Art degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin, along with a certificate in Business Foundations from McCombs School of Business in 2019. She graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2023 and completed externships in both community health care and private practice settings. She was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society and served as President of the Student Optometric Practice Management Association. Her passions include Dry Eye Treatment, Myopia Management and Specialty Contact Lenses. Dr. Lagunas is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association and Central Texas Optometric Society.
Dr. Lagunas enjoys exploring all that Austin has to offer with her fiance, Joe, and her dog, Appa. She loves to paddle board on Lady Bird Lake, hike on the Green Belt trails, and walk around Zilker Park.
Dr. Lagunas is fluent in English and Spanish.
